Nora E. Lanning, 86, Kokomo, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at North Woods Village. She was born March 5, 1925, in Kokomo, to Otto and Estella (Kendall) Wooldridge. On January 27, 1946, she married Lewis William Lanning, and he preceded her in death on August 16, 2003.
She is survived by two sons, Michael (Flora) Lanning, and Ron Lanning; one daughter, Valerie Collins; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ernest Tuttle; and five sisters, Janie Wood, Delorise LaFollete, Mabel Titus, Anondas Hendricks, and Margaret Harder.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Price and Captain Dale Brandenburg officiating.
