Patty Jo Hall of Kokomo, Indiana passed away early Tuesday, March 24th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that will be cherished forever. Born on October 12, 1931, Patty married Harold W. Hall on August 6, 1949, and together they built a loving family, raising two children, Gwena Hall and Bud Hall. Through the years, their family grew to include several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. The grandchildren include Michaele Hall, Israel (Tonya) Hall, and Abraham Hall. Among the great-grandchildren are Alexis Hattabaugh, Talen Hattabaugh, Destiny Hattabaugh, Trisha Hattabaugh, Jesse Shelton, Zane Hall, Daniella Rocha-Acosta, Hunter Hall, and Sydney Hall. Patty was affectionately known as Grand Ma Patty Jo, and her warmth reached far beyond her immediate family—most of the neighborhood kids considered her a friend or even family themselves.
Remarkably, Patty lived in the same house from age six all the way to ninety-four, creating a home that truly became a cornerstone for so many. Her genuine kindness and caring spirit touched the lives of everyone around her, and she will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Patty devoted over thirty years volunteering for the mental health organization, demonstrating her dedication and compassion for others. She was also a cherished member of The Gospel Light Mission from its very beginning in the 1950s, remaining steadfast in her faith and commitment to the community throughout her life. Now, as the last of her generation among both friends and older family members, Patty can rest peacefully, reunited with those she loved.
We also want to extend heartfelt thanks to all the hospice nurses and aides who cared for Patty. Their kindness and support made her feel truly special and loved during her final days.
Patty Jo Hall's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her and were touched by her generosity, spirit, and unwavering love.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home & Cemetery, 2097 West Alto Road, Kokomo, Indiana 46902, on March 29, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 pm.
