Randall L. Irvin Sr., 71, of Kokomo, passed away at 8:30 AM Thursday November 21, 2019 at his residence due to complications of lung cancer. Randall was born September 7, 1948 in Columbus, Indiana to the late Sherman F. and Glenna M. (Brooks) Irvin. Randall worked at Continental Steel for 18 years, until the mill closed in 1986. Randall went on to work for the Indianapolis Department of public works for 25 years.
Surviving are his two children, Amanda S. Irvin and husband Josh Nantroup and Brandon L. Irvin; two step-daughters Terra Holmes and April G. Collins; his grandchildren Amya Irvin, Alexis Irvin, Aubrie Irvin, and Amari Irvin, all of Sharpsville , Destiny Nantroup and Brooke Nantroup of Tipton, Brittany Mossholder, Nicholas Irvin, Jason Irvin, Carrie Stewart and Trey Stewart all of Kokomo, Daniel Woolley of Lafayette. His great grandchildren include A'Layla R. Irvin of Sharpsville, Braylee Mossholder, Braelynn Mossholder and Bentley Mossholder, all of Kokomo; sister Betty J. (Irvin) Name of Kokomo and many nieces and nephews.
Randall is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Beverly (Irvin) Wilson and Maxine Irvin; one brother Larry Dean Irvin; one son Randall Lee Irvin Jr.; one grandson Jeremy Irvin.
Randall's children would like to thank their mother Mary for being there for Randal and always providing him with loving care. They would also like to thank Guardian Angel Hospice for providing exceptional care to Randall during his illness..
Randall's wishes are to have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
