

Rick graduated from Eastern High School in Greentown. He worked for Chrysler in Kokomo for 36 years, retiring in 2004.
He married Dianna S. (Huber) on June 7, 1997, in Pendleton, Indiana, and she survives in Kokomo.
He enjoyed fishing, riding his bicycle, working out and staying fit and following sports, playing basketball, working in his yard, and was an avid Colts fan.
He loved life and his family. He was a good man, and was a loving husband, and his wife’s best friend, and was always willing to help others at any time.
Survivors include his wife, Dianna S. Baker, Kokomo; his children, Nicholas Baker and Adrienne Baker, Debra (Marty) Henderson, Frankfort, and Jamie Johnson, Kokomo; four grandchildren, Rachel (Matt) Miller, Frankfort, Joseph Kyle Henderson and Monica, Frankfort, Stacia Johnson and Andrew Johnson, both of Russiaville, and four great-grandchildren, Avah, Jordan, Bentley, and Alexdra.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Daryl (Junior) Pennington and Connie (Halpen) Pennington, and a brother, Arzie Baker.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, with Pastor Lynn Brust officiating. Calling will be 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the services at the Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
