Richard Lee Spicer

Richard Spicer, age 78, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Aperion Care Kokomo. He was born on June 30, 1941 in Kokomo to the late Adrian and Edna (Tibbetts) Spicer. Richard began working at an early age for Pittsburgh Plate Glass (PPG) Industries and Indalex in Kokomo, where he worked for several years until retirement. He was a member of Courtland Avenue Church of Christ. In his free time, Richard enjoyed going to movies, and socializing with his friends. Richard is survived by his sister, Joan Davidson; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ray and Kathryn Little. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in passing by one brother, two sisters, and a nephew. There will be a graveside service for Richard officiated by Pastor Josh Welch at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery on Monday, January 6th at 1:00 pm. Richard’s family would like to acknowledge and give special thanks to the nurses and staff at Aperion Care for the treatment that they gave to Richard.
