

Robert Norman Halton, 65, Kokomo, passed away peacefully at 2:48 AM on Friday, May 3, 2019. He was born June 30th, 1953 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Robert F. Halton and Norma C. (Wakefield) Halton, who survive. On July 2nd, 1988, he married Linda Sue Halton in their home.
Robert was a 1972 graduate of Taylor High School. He served a year with the United States Air Force as a firefighter until 1975 when he was honorably discharged. Robert worked in the Continental Steel Mill until their closure and was a volunteer firefighter/EMT for Bunker Hill and Indian Heights Fire Departments. Robert was a member of the Eagles #255 and serves as a past president. He enjoyed bowling, traveling to Las Vegas, and collecting Coca Cola memorabilia.
Along with his parents, Robert is survived by his children Tiffany (Joshua) Fulkerson, Seth Halton, Leaha (Mike) Beyelia, and Phyllis Halton; siblings David L. Halton, Rae (John) Weaver, Karen (Greg) Little, Nancy Halton, and Betty Jo; 10 grandchildren Adam Walker, Alyssa Halton, Ethan Newman, Seth Haiden Halton, Barret Halton, Tryston Smith, Kailland Smith, Charlotte Halton, Charleigh Halton, and Ophelia Halton, along with several nieces and nephews.
Robert is preceded in death by his wife.
A celebration of life will be held at a date to be announced.
