Ruth Ann Young

Ruth was born on March 8th, 1949 to her parents Claudine Shuck and Louise Mills in Decatur, MI.

She is survived by her children Raymond McKinney, Harry (Cheyenne) Young, Chuck (Heather) McKinney, Robert (Crystal) McKinney, Mark (Becky) McKinney, and Lenora (Philip) Causey. She is also survived by her sisters Charmaine Meacham, Judy Haught, Claudina (Keith) Buford, Diana Parson, 18 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

Ruth enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, Bingo, and playing poker. She will be remember for her love and care that she provided to everyone that she encountered. Everyone knew her as “Mom” with a heart of gold.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Daniel Sullivan, brother Chester Shuck, sister in law Deb Shuck, and sister Dorothy Shuck.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday February 18th from 1-4pm at Ellers Mortuary (725 S Main Street 46901)
