Sandra Kay Woodring

Sandra Kay Woodring, 84, of Gas City, Indiana passed away peacefully on September 9, 2022. She was born on August 19, 1938 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of Edgar E. and Monelle C. Holloway (Bauer). She was a veteran of the United States Navy and the Air Force Reserves.

Sandra graduated from Royerton High School in 1956. On October 1, 2006, she retired from Fisher Body in Marion, IN. Sandra also worked at Delco Electronics, The Big Wheel and Denny's in Kokomo, IN. She loved all her pets, especially Romeo and Heaven. Sandra enjoyed doing her cross-stitch, reading, puzzles, traveling, taking walks, sitting by the fire pit in the backyard and watching her grandchildren play soccer and other sports.

Surviving relatives include four children, Michael D. Gish (Sally) of Peru, IN; Robert E. Hopkins II of Gas City, IN; Sandra K. Dance (David)of Peru, IN; Maryann M. Woodring of Indianapolis, IN; grandchildren, Helena M. Stoffo; Anthony W. Dance; Michael A. Gish; Mitchell D. Gish; Jeniffer N. Gish; Enisha J. Woodring; Elijah J. Woodring; several great grandchildren and extended family members, Nancy, Teresa, Kathy, Sheila, Glenda and Barbara Woodring.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edgar and Claudine Holloway and Maryan and Monelle Fuja, brother David Holloway (Jackie), two sisters Sharon Housler and Nancy Scott, granddaughter Nettie Gish, and extended family member Buddy Woodring.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home 2097 West Alto Road Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the funeral home. Burial will be 1:00 PM at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery on Monday, September 19, 2022.
