Sheila Berry

Sheila Jo Berry, 65, of Palm Bay, Florida died at 3:43 pm December 11, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 2, 1951 in Kokomo, the daughter of Gerald “Bud” and Ruthana Louise (Shuck) Mitchell. On July 19, 1969 in Kokomo she married Leroy Frances Berry Jr. and he survives. She graduated from Kokomo High School in 1969 and retired from Delco in 1999 after 25 years of service. She was a member of U.A.W. Local #292. Radiant Life Ministry, also lifetime member of VFW Auxillary and Eagles Lodge. She enjoyed knitting, cross-stitch, bowling, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving include three sons, one adopted son and one ex-daughter-in-law, Todd Berry of Palm Bay, Florida, Ryan (Brandy) Berry of Melbourne, Florida, Shawn (Janelle) Berry of Kokomo, Jeremy (Emmie) Roberts of Kokomo, Heidi Berry of Kokomo; two sisters Sandy (Gerald) Martin of Russiaville, Beth (Ted) Kinder of Kokomo; half-sister Pat Reynolds of West Lebanon and best friend Sherry (Rick) Lewis of Kokomo. There are 18 grandchildren Samantha Bowles, Andrew Bowles, Mason Berry, Riley Corne, Travis Corne, Kristen Turner, Hannah Berry, Joe Johnston, Kendra Berry, Gavin Berry, Isaiah Berry, Devon Decker, Darrian Lewis, Allison Shields, Heaven Berry, Isabelle Berry, Micah Deck, all of Kokomo and Dakota Berry of Melbourne, Florida. She has nine great grandchildren Amberley Berry, Alexander Berry, Oliver Fortson, Olivia Bowles, Mearl Roberts, Virginia Roberts, Addison Corne, Eloise Corne, and Illana Corne, all of Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Steve Pearce will officiate. Burial will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4-7 PM Monday at the mortuary. Memorials may be directed to the family.
