Shirley Jean Frazier, age 87, of Kokomo, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2022. Shirley Jean was born August 8, 1935 in Kokomo, the daughter of the late Vivan and Margaret (Weaver) Giles. On August 30, 1952, she married her husband and love of her life, Paul Frazier. Shirley worked at Delco Electronics for 14 years before becoming a housewife. She loved the outdoors and traveling with her family. Shirley was a devout Christian who loved the Lord, her family, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed the simple life of family and friends and meals together and conversations. She enjoyed watching her Cubbies and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. She is survived by sons, Randy Frazier, of Wabash, and David Paul (Nancy) Frazier, of Tipton; five granddaughters, Lorraine, Sherry, Shannon, Sarah, and Shelby; eight great-grandchildren, Stephen, Grady, Emma, Dominic, Owen, Hannah, Harper, and Landry; and several nieces and nephews; and her brother, Robert Giles. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Frazier; son, Rick Frazier; brothers, Fred Giles, Bill Giles, Donald Giles, and Gerald Giles; sisters, Beverly Cobb, Sharon Sue Giles, Carolyn Steur; and great-grandson, Timothy Heckman. Friends and family may call from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 22, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. The funeral service will be Friday, September 23, at 11:00 A.M., officiated by her family. Shirley will be laid to rest at Albright Cemetery following services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's memory to Samaritan's Purse, envelopes will be provided at the visitation and service.
