Theresa Lynn Stanley

Theresa L. Stanley, 52, of Kokomo, passed away at 1:19 A.M., Monday, May 1, 2017 at Community Heart and Vascular Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born July 8, 1964 in Kokomo, Indiana to the late Eldon R. Hill and Joyce (Copeland) Hill, who survive her. She married the love of her life and soul mate, John W. Stanley, on February 14, 1983 in Kokomo, who survives her.

Theresa was the co-owner and operator of Stanley Enterprises for 15 years. She enjoyed spending time by her pool in the sun and gardening. Theresa was known as a selfless person, always looking out for others before herself. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved her two canine companions, Max and Riley.

Surviving is her loving husband of 34 years, John. Daughter, Danielle (Trevor) McCoy; mother, Joyce Hill; four grandchildren, Kyrstin N. McCoy, Marissa A. McCoy, Anya L. McCoy, and Tyler S. McCoy; brother, Greg (Joan) Hill; mother-in-law, Mary L. Stanley; brothers-in-law, Patrick L. (Irene) Stanley, James R. (Josie) Stanley, Jeff D. (Fe) Stanley, Chris E. (Amy) Stanley, Bill J. (Deeann) Stanley; sisters-in-law, Kathy L. Stanley, Lee Armstrong, Vicki (Jeff) Kinsey, Virginia H. Pelgen, Annie (Mark) Fortin, Susan E. Wheeler, Laura Davis, and Carol (Gary) Paul; and several nieces and nephews .

She was preceded in death by her father, Eldon R. Hill; and two loving canine companions, Fortune and Kyser.

The funeral service for Theresa will be held Friday, May 5, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel, 3400 South Webster Street., Kokomo, with Deacon James R. Stanley officiating. Family and friends will have a time of visitation from 11:00am until the time of service, on Friday, also at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery.
