Violet worked at Delco Electronics for several years. She enjoyed working in the Church and caring for others.
Surviving relatives include a sister, Sharon Anderson (Dennis) of Louisville, KY; three nephews, Frank Skees (Gail); Danny Skees and Charles Thompson (Mary).
She preceded in death by her parents, son Terry Nelson; sister Jean Skees and brother Kenneth Shaw.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2022 at New Hope Church 246 S. 00 EW, Kokomo, Indiana 46902. Burial will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Friday at New Hope Church. Share a memory with the family at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
