

Born on March 20, 1939 in Kokomo to Beulah Eleanor (Tilley) Kauble and James Elbert Kauble, Wade was a lifelong resident of Kokomo.
Wade worked at Continental Penn-Dixie Steel Corporation until closing in 1986. Wade then worked closely with brother Phil Kauble to secure pension benefits for co-workers at Continental after the Penn-Dixie bankruptcy.
Preceding employment at Continental, Wade worked briefly at Delco in Kokomo, following an honorable discharge from the Indiana National Guard.
Wade attended Palmer Elementary School, Washington Junior High School and graduated from Kokomo High School in 1957.
Wade was a Kokomo Naphtali Masonic Lodge member.
Known by friends as “Bear”, Wade was a seemingly gruff but usually amicable and devoted son, brother, father and friend with strong convictions and sense of morality and fairness.
He enjoyed trips to places such as Las Vegas and Cape Hatteras during his working years and was a devoted son and caregiver to his Mother Beulah during her late years after James’ passing.
Survivors include his brother, Dave (Debra) Kauble, Kokomo, sister Cheryl Pace, Clarksville, IN, sister-in-law Carolyn (Phil) Kauble, Elkhart, IN, daughter Tracy Galloway, nephew Tom (Lisa) Kauble, niece Laura (Al) Cauthen, nephew Deron (Denise) Kauble, Clearwater, FL, Deron’s brother Kris Akers, Kokomo, nephews Robert (Annie) Jordan and Casey Jordan, niece Brooke Kauble and Brandon Strong, Logansport, granddaughters Amanda (Nathan) Hedrick, Myah Galloway, and great granddaughters, five great nieces, eight great nephews, one great-great niece and 5 great-great nephews.
Preceding Wade in death were his parents, brother Phil, and niece Marissa (Pace) Rainey.
Close lifetime friends include Bob (Sylvia) Andrews, Dick (Linda) McIninch, Max Beatty, and neighbors Bernie (Vicky) Clark, all who provided great support for Wade and family during Wade’s life. Their friendship is greatly appreciated by Wade’s family.
The family would also like to express deep gratitude to Valerie Imbierowizc, Sue Bline, Debby House and the entire staff at Kindred for their great care and concern for Wade and family.
Condolences may be left at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations may be made in Wade’s name for the American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
Funeral services will be at 11am Friday, June 20, at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home following a 1-hour calling, with interment immediately following the services at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
