

William Crowe, 81, Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at his home. He was born July 5, 1930, in Logansport, to Charles and Myrtle (Powell) Crowe. He married Rosaleen Hopper in 1951, and she preceded him in death on July 9, 2007.
He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He later worked for Pepperidge Farm as a route distributor for over 20 years. After retiring from Pepperidge Farm, he worked as a car salesman and as a salesman at Mobile Auto Glass. He had a strong love for his family and a very good sense of humor. He was a loving man of God and attended Chapel Hill Christian Church in Kokomo. He was a member of the Kiwanis and the Eagles.
He is survived by one son, Randy (Kathy) Crowe; two daughters, Cathy (Kenneth) Elmore, and Julie (Randy) Earnest; one sister, Laverne Andry; three grandchildren, Stacey (Brian) Alexander, Laurie (Travis) Ervin, and Kati (Bo) Pratt; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, Rosaleen Crowe, he was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Steve Allen officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Online messages of condolence may be made at www.sunsetmemorygarden.com.
