

William R. Ferguson Jr. of Kokomo, IN. passed away on July 13, 2017. Bill was born in Kirkland, In on April 9th of 1938. He was the son of William R. Ferguson Sr. and Pansy K. Turner. He was married on November 25th, 1962 to surviving wife, Jennie Lou Ferguson. He was a Crane Operator at Continental Steel from 1971 to 1986. Bill became a human GPS while driving semi-trucks from 1986-1991. He was seeker of adventure through his Pilot's License, Motorcycle Trips, and camping. He was a human encyclopedia of John Wayne movies, Nascar drivers and card games.
Bill is survived by wife Jennie Lou, sisters Shirley Miller and Kathy Campbell; son William R (Jaetta) Ferguson III, daughter Barbara (Earl Jr.) Sickbert, grandchildren Ernest (Kendra) Smith, Chad Ferguson, Candace (Anthony) Livesay, Jessica (Merle) Ferguson, Dirk (Jessica) Clark, Earl Sickbert III, Amanda (Travis) Donson, Dalton (Bianca) Tinklenberg, Macey (Brock) Titus, Mitchel Malott, Mallory (Jesus) Malott; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Bill was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister; son William M. Ferguson; and granddaughter Casandra Ferguson.
Bill’s family would like to say thank you to the staffs at Great Lakes and St. Vincent Hospital.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18 at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
