He was a student at Ivy Tech.
He is survived by his fiancé, Audrey Thompson; three children, Marlee Butts, Brooke Thompson and Anthony Thompson; mother, Debra Bowman; stepfather, Samuel Bowman; sister, Stacy Gilvin and husband, Roger; grandparents, Phil and Sara Hale; three nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Butts; and grandparents, Clea and Burlin Butts.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, 2097 W. Alto Road., Kokomo, with Logan Sparling officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
