Janet Louise Bauer

After graduating from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1948, she worked as a fingerprint clerk for the FBI, first in Washington DC, and later in San Diego. She married William Bauer at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on February 23, 1952. They were married for 63 years before William’s death in 2015. They settled in San Diego where she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Mark Coffin; her son, Paul Bauer; three grandchildren, Stephanie Coffin, Kevin Coffin, and Jennifer Bauer; and her sister, Edith Mortensen. She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her son, Philip Bauer; and her brother, Henry Garbe.

Due to current restrictions, her service and burial will be private.
