Huera will be remembered as a beloved and cherished presence in the lives of those who knew her—steady in her love, generous in her care, and enduring in the quiet strength that carried her through life. Her resilience showed most clearly in the devotion she gave to her family, embracing her role as a dedicated mother and grandmother with unwavering commitment and tenderness.
Huera is survived by her husband, Pascual Casas, Sr.; her children, Pascual Casas, Jr. and Maria Antonia Gonzalez; her siblings, Lupe Luna, Henrietta Alpatino, Gloria Mancera, Vicente Luna, Bobby Luna, and Rudy Luna; her grandchildren, Elijah Sanchez, Areanna Casas, Marianna Casas, Sonnie Hernandez, Pascual Casas III, and Vicente Casas; and her great-granddaughter, Ella Casas.
A visitation will be held at Erickson - Anderson Mortuary, 8390 Allison Ave., La Mesa, CA 91942, on May 1, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
