Susan Marie Cuffaro

She was born on April 9th, 1962 in Queens, New York to Sarah and Salvatore Cuffaro, who preceded her in death. She had two siblings Robert and Anthony who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Carol O'Neal who resides in Thousand Oaks, California, along with two nephews, Patrick O'Neal of Santa Barbara, California and Timothy O'Neal of Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Susie was born with disabilities and resided at the Home of Guiding for almost fifty years. It is with great gratitude that I thank the home and all its staff for the wonderful life they gave Susie. They gave her the freedom to be herself and the guidance to keep her safe, which enabled her to live her best life.

The depth of my appreciation is unmeasurable.

Susie was one to love a party and being with people. She enjoyed chatting, laughing and singing. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She knew every Christmas song and loved to open presents. I will miss Susie, but I know that she will always be a song that I carry in my heart.
