Christie Ruth Lee

Christie was one of those special souls that managed to make everyone feel loved and like family. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family that grew bigger every day. She was a fabulous cook and was always having friends and family over for her delicious meals. Nothing made her happier than to be nurturing someone. Christie was always generous with her time, her heart, her ears, her servings, and her hugs.

Christie is survived by her son, Tyler Townley: brother, Trotsky Quinn: sister, Brenda Vega: and additional family members, Christina, Shannon, and Dane Knopp; Theresa Tucker; Courtney Tucker; Patricia Turner; Rachel Cleaver; Buddy Collins; and Cathy Collins Mitchell.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 5, 2015 at New Community Church with Reverend Billy McCollough officiating. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for contributions to be made to the Burtron-Ortiz Victim/Family Assistance Fund, P.O. Box 1489, LaGrange, GA 30240.
