Curtis Eugene Scott

Mr. Scott was born October 11, 1931 in LaGrange, GA, son of the late Edgar H. Scott and Imogene Newell Scott. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mr. Scott worked for West Georgia Medical Center, 4th floor, as a nursing assistant for many years and was self-employed most of his life as a dairy farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel Webb Scott; daughter, Lynn Scott (Tony) Giles; son, Thomas Scott; grandchildren, Scott Giles, Rowdy Giles, and Andrew Scott; brother, Harold Scott; sister, Kathryn Rhodes; and several nieces and nephews.

A family gathering will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Shadowlawn Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. Joel Chapman officiating. Following the graveside service, the family will gather at the funeral home and receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that contributions be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA 30240 in memory of Mr. Curtis Eugene Scott.
