Dewey William "Billy" Johnson Jr.

On June 17, 2015 at 5:45 pm, Dewey William Johnson, Jr. passed away at Hospice LaGrange at the age of 64. He was born in LaGrange, son of the late Dewey William Johnson, Sr. and Evelyn Bryant Johnson. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He will always be remembered and missed by friends and family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael E. Johnson and brother, Donald Monan.

He was survived by his wife of 38 years, Betty Johnson; two sons, Phillip (Yvette) Johnson and Randall (Stephanie) Johnson; eight grandchildren that he loved with all his heart, Austin, Jared, Jeffery, Rianna, Courtney, Cameron, Mack and Molly; sister, Elaine (Bill) Miles; brother, David (Gail) Monan; other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The Visitation will be from 10:00am to 11:00am before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice LaGrange or the American Liver Foundation.
