Donald Bolt

Mr. Bolt was born November 24, 1952 in Lafayette, AL, son of R.C. Bolt and Doris Elizabeth Stephens Bolt. He was a member and Deacon of Liberty East Baptist Church and was retired from Shell Oil Company. Mr. Bolt proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, during which time he served in Vietnam and was a Past Worshipful Master of Union Lodge #28.

Survivors in addition to his parents, R.C. and Doris Bolt of Roanoke, AL, include his wife, Sylvia Bolt; son, Jeremy (Crystal) Bolt; daughter, LeeAnn (Klint) Bailey; brother, William D. (Joanne) Bolt of Colorado; sister, Diann (Jimmy) Noles of Five Points, AL; grandchildren, Stormy Hand, Justin Bolt, Jordan Rodgers, Christopher Rodgers, and Kylee Bailey; special friend, Mike Hudmon; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Marley Bolt (his buddy);

Celebration of Life services will be held 12:00 P.M. (EST) Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Liberty East Baptist Church, 1991 County Road 39, Woodland, AL 36280 with Rev. Greg Arrington and Pastor Chuck Redmond officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Liberty East Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1991 County Road 39, Woodland, AL 36280 in memory of Mr. Donald R. Bolt.
