In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his three sisters, Barbara, Carole, and Valarie, two brothers, Gerald and Larry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Althea (Caldwell) Reames and two sons Thomas and Timothy Reames, as well as many nieces, nephews and family.
Duane was a tool maker by trade and worked for the same company for 39 years.
He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing for many years after he retired, he also quilted the quilts his wife made.
The family requests for donations to be made to Wellstar West Georgia Hospice in lieu of flowers.
A service will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 10:30 AM, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lagrange Georgia.
