Earston Lee Horton, Jr.

Mr. Horton was born November 9, 1949, in LaGrange, GA, son of the late Earston Lee Horton, Sr. and Jeanette Brown Horton. He was employed with the United States Postal Services as a Customer Service Supervisor until his retirement. Mr. Horton received several service medals during his enlistment in the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Perry Pritchett and mother-in-law, Sara Finn.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Tricia” Beckom Horton; daughter, Sabrina (David) Arrington; daughter, Ashley Horton; two grandchildren, Hayden and Connor Arrington, all of LaGrange, GA; brother, Terry (Sandy) Pritchett of LaGrange, GA; brother, Johnny (Wanda) Horton of Columbus, GA; sister, Donna Moore of Franklin, GA; father-in-law, Perry Beckom; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Donnie Benefield and Reverend Frank Sledge officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens. The family will be at his daughter’s home, 1658 Stovall Rd., LaGrange, GA.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Earston Lee Horton, Jr.
