Ginger Hope Ross Patterson

Ginger was born April 9, 1967 in LaGrange, daughter of Homer Ross, Jr. and the late Lillian Batchelor Ross. She had lived in LaGrange all her life and was a member of Baptist Tabernacle Church. Ginger was employed with the Troup County School System, Mountville Elementary School, as a first grade teacher. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by 2 grandmothers, Georgia Cofield and Minnie Batchelor; and a grandfather, Ellis Batchelor.

Survivors include her husband, Erik Patterson; two children, Erika Patterson and Fuller Patterson, all of LaGrange; father, Homer Ross, Jr. of LaGrange; sister, Niki (Jeremy) Storey of LaGrange; grandfather, Hope Cofield of LaGrange; aunts, Susie Harman of Newnan, GA, Sue (JR) Elliott of LaGrange, and Shirley (Bill) Wright of Villa Rica, GA; uncles, David (Carol) Cofield of Five Points, AL, Steve (Pricella) Batchelor of LaGrange, and Richard (Linda) Batchelor of LaGrange; mother-in-law, Gladys Barefield of LaGrange; brothers-in-law, Dennis (Tracey) Patterson of Savannah, GA and Shonn Patterson of LaGrange; sister-in-law, Karla (Chuck) Harris of Bailey, MS; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Baptist Tabernacle Church in memory of Ginger Hope Patterson.
