James W. Walker, Jr.

Mr. Walker was born August 19, 1927 in Birmingham, AL, son of the late James William Walker, Sr. and Eva Harris Walker. He served as General Counsel for Cigna Corporation before retiring and was a member of the Carrollton Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include his wife, Eileen Newton Walker of Carrollton, GA; five children and their spouses, Jim and Diane Walker of Kennesaw, GA, Michael and Carol Walker of Philadelphia, PA, Lee and Ralph Doty of Chatham, MA, Helen and Brian Nolan of West Dennis, MA, and Caroline and Stephen Kahler of Carrollton, GA; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Carrollton Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.

The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Almon Funeral Home, 548 Newnan Street, Carrollton, GA.
