Jeanette Reeves Wright

Mrs. Wright was born December 17, 1926 in Roanoke, AL, daughter of the late James Bishop Reeves and Vena Belle Norris Reeves. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and was employed with C&S Bank as Assistant Vice President of Personnel before retiring. Mrs. Wright was a member (Emeritus) of the Order of the Eastern Star, Miriam Chapter #32. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Wright, Jr., twin sons, John William Wright and James David Wright, brother, Frank Wilson Reeves, and a sister, Joyce Reeves Sullivan.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Louise Moultrie and her husband, Al Moultrie, of LaGrange; sister, Elizabeth Reeves Brummett and her husband, Louis Brummett, of Hogansville, GA; special aunt, Verna Brown; special uncle, Ralph Norris; four sisters-in-law, Martha Ann Greene and her husband, Owen Greene, of Dalton, GA, Marie Thompson and her husband, Fred Thompson, of Newton, N.C., Grace Wright of Macon, GA, and Willie Wright of Houston, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Fred Thompson and Rev. Neil W. Stich officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
