Larry "Pete" "Pete" White

Mr. Larry “Pete” White, 68, of LaGrange passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia. Mr. White was born April 18, 1945 in LaGrange, to the late Louis Cleveland White and Ruby Newton White.

“Pete”, as he was affectionately known, worked for the City of LaGrange as a Supervisor of the Sanitation Department until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Baptist Tabernacle.

In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by a brother, Lamar White; and a nephew, Randall Dawson.

Mr. White leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Brenda White; sons, Shane (Kaye) White; Scott (Jill) White, all of LaGrange, GA; sister, Eunice (Lamar) Dawson, Macon, GA; five grandchildren, Coe; Kellie; Katie; John Will; and Emily; several nieces and nephews, other family and friends.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be Thursday, October 3, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be at 2:00p.m., Friday, October 4, 2013 at Baptist Tabernacle, with burial to follow in the Mooty Family Cemetery.
