Martha Cooper Eslinger

Martha was born May 28, 1930 in Albany, GA, daughter of the late John Laymon Cooper and Carrie Burgess Cooper. She was employed with the Taste of Lemon Restaurant and was a member of the Women’s Bridge Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, William E. and Thelma B. Cooper and a brother-in-law, Richard Daniel.

Survivors include her son, Frank (Rhonda) Eslinger; one grandson, Trey (Brittney) Eslinger; and one great granddaughter, Emma Francis Eslinger, all of LaGrange; sister, Betty Daniel of LaGrange; numerous nieces and nephews including, Donna (Steve) Close of LaGrange, Richard (Sydney) Daniel of LaGrange, Amy C. (Greg) Berkes of McDonough, GA, Clay (Jackie) Cooper of Tarpon Springs, FL, John D. (Deborah) Cooper of Bryan, TX, William (Marjorie) Cooper of Winter Park, FL, and Carolyn C. Boswell of Tarpon Springs, FL; and numerous great nieces and great nephews including, Carl (Jen) Close, Daniel (Amanda) Close, Richard Daniel III, Cheney Daniel, and Cason Daniel.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Chapel of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange with Reverend Eugene Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hillview East Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be this evening from 6:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange or National Kidney Research Foundation in memory of Martha Cooper Eslinger.
