Martha Ann Folds Perdue

Ms. Perdue was born February 21, 1940 in LaGrange GA, to the late Newell and Ruth Folds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elgia Tucker and her second husband Ruben Perdue; son, Henry Tucker; brother, Jack Folds; sister, Francis.

She is survived by her children James Ferrell Tucker and Melisa Ann Jackson; grandchildren, Bradley Tucker, Mitchell Coe and Cody Jackson and five great-grandchildren; brothers, James Folds, Gene Folds, Harold Folds and Wilbur Folds; sisters, Judy Henry and Brenda Grantham.

Martha was a graduate of Troup County High School and went on to receive her LPN Degree from West Georgia Technical College. She retired from West Ga Medical Center with over 30 years of service.

Martha was a born again believer in Jesus Christ and attended Oakside Baptist Church for over 40 years. There she served as the leader of the “Golden Gleeners” service.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M Sunday, March 1, 2020 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev S.T. Janney officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. prior to the service in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.
