

Mrs. Watkins was born January 1, 1927 in Thomaston, GA, daughter of the late Enoch Elijah Watson and Lottie Mae Shumate Watson Fowler. She was a member of Long Cane Baptist Church and retired from West Point Pepperell. Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Watkins.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Watkins of LaGrange and Ann (Phil) Gregg of Quincy, WA; a brother, Reggie (Anna) Watson of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Christina (Andy) Graham of Spokane, WA, Cherie Gregg of Wenatchee, WA, Tony (Corinthia) Gregg of Virginia Beach, VA, and Tracy (Annette) Gregg of Lynnwood, WA; great-grandchildren, Kristen Graham and Deanna Graham of Spokane, WA, Amanda Gregg, Chace Gregg, and Katie Gregg of Lynnwood, WA, Trase Gregg of Quincy, WA, Kaleo Gregg, Kianna Gregg, Kiera Gregg, and Keanue Gregg of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jayden Redick and Madilyn Redick of East Wentachee, WA.
A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Long Cane Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Gilbert officiating. A private interment will be held in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday.
