Dear Lawrence and Family, 
I know I am very late to write a note, but I just learned today of Mary's passing.  My heart is heavy -- Mary was a warm and wonderful person that I hold dear in my heart - she and I were close friends in Ft Walton Beach along with Carleen working at Pantry Pride! I will always remember her - she was a blessing in my life and will be dearly missed.  I pray you and your family are well and know that Mary is looking down on you and smiling. This website came up as I was online looking for Mary's e-mail address as the one I had came back.  I am so saddened by this news.  Mary was one of the most upbeat people.  I have so many fantastic memories of times at the beach and just hanging around.  Her parents really took me and my son Vincent under their wings as well when I was going through difficult times.  Please know that I will be praying for you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I got to know your mom when I was living in LaGrange post-college.  She was a sweetheart and was so proud of all of you.  May you be comforted by memories and in knowing she is in a better place.

Mary and I became friends in 8th grade; we were inseparable. We spent many nights under her Clark Gable posters eating Little Debbie cakes. I loved spending the night with Mary because at the Tucker home you could sleep til noon. Mary was by far the prettiest girl at Bruner Junior High with her long nails  eye lashes an inch long and designer clothes to die for!! Mary & I we're considered as'Mutt & Jeff', me being 4' 11" & she seemed like an an Amazon to me. We would cruise around town in that White Impala singing to to radio with not a care in the world!

I was so excited Mary was able to make our 30th class reunion. I was one of the organizers and that was a great feat getting Mary T at the reunion. The first night we stayed up for hours laughing with another great friend of Mary's  Leesa  Perkins Gibson talking about  how "those were the days" The second night of the reunion we stayed at the Sandestin Resort where the reunion was held. Everyone was downstairs dancing the night away and having a great time. I was so tired and Mary was feeling a little down... so we went back to our room and talked for hours with friends stopping by for a few more laughs. The next morning I was asked by several people "where were you last  last night .. missed you it was so much fun" My response was I was right were I need to be with my friend Mary catching up....I can dance anytime!

Through all of Mary and my conversations she NEVER once complain about what she did been through. My heart goes out to Lawrence and the boys. I will miss Mary and I am sorry I could not attend the service. I was in Mississippi taking care of my Mom how is battling Lung Cancer and Alzheimer's. Save a place in heaven for me Mary...I Love you!

I'm so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Those of us in Adult Education have a special bond.

Please know that you who loved and cared for her are in my prayers.

Mary had talked me into going with her to see "Gone with the Wind", but did not tell me that the movie was 4 hours long. She of course paid for the popcorn. Mary and I had also worked together at good old Pantry Pride. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Keep the memories in your heart, they will stay with you forever!

If I could have hand picked my grandkids other grandmother I couldn't have picked one that measured up to their Nana - She was a tender, sweet and all around good person that will be missed in the family - She has a place in so many hearts and will be truly missed - I for one feel richer for having known such a person -

Mary was a dear sweet lady. My fondest memory of her was when Brian and Sonny were small and my sister and I use to meet her over at the Callway Pool and spend the whole day. She always had a kind word to say. She will be missed!

My fondest memory of Mary was when she flew out to Colorado when I was living there many years ago. She came because I was moving back and she was to drive back with me. Except we took about an 8 hour detour north to Memphis, TN then south. Got caught in a hail storm and were teased for many years because we didn't go through TX etc to get to back to FL. She also tried skiing and didn't like it too much and ended up "Walking" down the mountain with her skiis over her shoulder. I will miss her terribly.

Lawrence you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I was so lucky to have Mary in my life when I was growing up, she was like a big sister to me. I will miss her.

Mary and I were friends since junior high; her parents practically adopted and helped raise me and my daughter, Rachel. Her bright spirit will live on through the many lives that she touched along the way. She was a strong and courageous woman. 

May those she left behind find peace and comfort in the midst of sorrow.  Mary is free at last.

I had the pleasure of taking both of my English courses at West Georgia Tech under Mrs. Edmondson. She was a fantastic teacher and one of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

May God Bless you in this time of sorrow.  Mary will be missed greatly in Adult Ed. I am one of her teacher's from Coweta County.
