Melinda was born November 13, 1955 in LaGrange, daughter of the late William J. Webb and Mary John Gooden Webb. Melinda lived in LaGrange all her life and was the owner of Chatter’s for the past 10 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Fields.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Wisener; two sons, William David “Skeet” Fields and Christopher “Booboo” Fields; sisters, Peggy Poole, Sue Starling, Mary Juan Whitehead, and Wanda Hamlin; and grandchildren, Timothy Shane Fields, Taylor Ann Fields, Christopher Calloway, Kylie Jade Pressley, and Kayden Lamar Foster.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
