Paul M. Mitchell

Paul Michael Mitchell, 72, of LaGrange, GA passed on peacefully to his eternal home on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at West Georgia Hospice, surrounded by loved ones. Paul was born in LaGrange, GA on October 31, 1949 to William Earl and Elsie Lenderman Mitchell. He was a 1969 graduate of Troup County High School and West Georgia Technical College, where he earned an Automotive Technician degree. He was the Owner and Operator of Mitchell Auto and Marine Repair for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and being with family and friends. Paul is survived by his wife of 51 years, Wylene Adcock Mitchell; sons, Tim (Cindy) Mitchell and Keith Mitchell; granddaughters, AbbyGayle Mitchell, BrieAnna Mitchell and Kayla Mitchell; sister, Phyllis Bohannon; five nephews; seven nieces; several cousins; other relatives and friends; and beloved cat, Mittens. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Mitchell Jr., Calvin Mitchell and Eugene Mitchell. Visitation with family and friends will be on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm with the service at 3:00pm in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Pastor Sam Mitchell officiating. Graveside service to follow in Hillview Annex cemetery.
