Pearl Keeble Lester

Mrs. Pearl was born October 31, 1940 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Jim Taylor Keeble and Ruby Dell Keeble. She was Baptist by faith and was employed with the State of Georgia, Department of Juvenile Justice before retiring. Mrs. Pearl loved fishing, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and was an avid Atlanta Braves Fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Lester, and siblings, John Keeble, Joe Keeble, Troy Keeble, Roger “Bud” Keeble, and Martha Lovvorn.

Survivors include her children, Kathy and Herb Dremann, Glenn and Debbie Anderson, Barry and Cathy Anderson, and Lane and Tina Anderson; grandchildren, Tasha Knight, Cason Dremann, Colby Dremann, Taralynn Knight, Cliff Brown, Kaitlyn Anderson, Zach Anderson, Josh Anderson, Tori Smith, Kenzi Anderson, Laney Anderson, Sydney Anderson, and Sam Anderson; 4 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Jean Richardson and Ann Cope; numerous nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends, a loving caregiver and friend, Patsy Lawhorn; and a special thanks to the staff of West Georgia Hospice.

Celebration of Life for Mrs. Pearl Keeble Lester will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 4, 2016 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will gather at the home of Mrs. Pearl K. Lester, 714 Whitaker Rd., LaGrange, GA.
