Peggy Joyce Hill

Mrs. Hill was born June 27, 1934 in LaGrange, daughter of the late Emmett Russell Murphy and Sarah Frances Teaver Murphy. She had lived in LaGrange all her life and was a member of Loyd Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Hill was employed with Clark Holder Clinic as X-Ray Supervisor before retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Frankie Grogran, Bobbie Purdue, and Carlton Murphy.

Survivors include her husband, Linward Hill; two sons, Emmett (Tam) Hill and Donald (Elaine) Hill; grandchildren, April (Chris) Prather, Jason (Callie) Hill, and Reverend Chad (Ginger) Hill; great grandchildren, Courtney Prather, Sylvie Prather, Grayce Prather, Brody Hill, and Kiaya Hill; two sisters, Mary Stewart and Ellen Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Loyd Presbyterian Church with Reverend Rix Threadgill, Reverend Tony Dean, and Reverend Chad Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Loyd Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be this evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
