Raymond Elliott Anderson

Ray as he was affectionately known, was born April 28, 1946 in Canton, MS to the late Douglas Raymond Anderson and Hazel Speaks Anderson. He was a faithful member of Rosemont Baptist Church and retired from Delta Airlines as a Station Agent. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved his family and spending time with them.

Survivors include his loving wife, Wilma Anderson; son, Sean (Stephanie) Anderson; daughters, Ashley Frederick, Cindy (David) Westcott, and Tracy (Allen) Dempsey; grandchildren, Brandon Frederick, Ryan Frederick, Dustin Hester, Dylan Hester, Heather Westcott, Hanna Westcott, Harleigh Dempsey; great grandchildren, Carter Hester and Colby Hester; several other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00pm Thursday, June 18, 2020 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Rev. Adam Camp and Rev. Max McCord officiating. The Gathering of Family and Friends will be from 5:00pm until the service hour on Thursday evening.
