Robbie Cecilia Dollar, 68, of LaGrange, GA passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Emory Healthcare.
Mrs. Dollar was born October 18, 1956, in LaGrange, GA to the late James Edward Dollar and Ella Mae Huber Dollar. She worked for several years at Money Back Food Store #45 in the Rosemont Community and previously as a Security Guard at Live Oak Milliken Plant. Robbie was an independent woman that loved spending time with her family, a good party, going to the beach and her beloved cat, Luna. She was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan. Robbie enjoyed her coffee, Pepsi and an occasional margarita. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Dollar; sisters, Sharon Kennedy and Brenda Dollar; brother, Randy Dollar; niece, Jennifer Dollar; lifelong friend, Steve Byrd.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Dollar (Dustin) and their son, Bentley; adopted daughter, Marisa Woodard; son, Rodney (Trichia) Steele and their children, Hailey, Gabriella, Lilly, Evelyn, and Bradley; son, Kelly Dollar and his children, Lane and Landon; grandchildren, Taylor Dollar and Tyler Dollar; sisters, Rita Bagley and Patricia Dollar; lifelong friend, Deborah Byrd; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be 3:00pm Wednesday, January 1, 2025, in the Striffler Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Pastor TJ Boyd officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the service hour. Burial will be in Meadoway Gardens.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the family to help cover expenses from her extended hospital stays and final expenses.
