Rosemary Ann Fling-Little

Mrs. Little was born September 30, 1953 in LaGrange, Georgia and was the daughter of the late Daniel Emmett Fling and Elizabeth Luck Fling. Mrs. Little worked at Fling Insurance Agency agent with her family as an insurance agent for over thirty years until her retirement earlier this year. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange and a graduate of LaGrange College. She was known to all as a helpful, loving and compassionate person who was always willing to lend a hand. She knew her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and He provided her with a servant’s heart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Carlton Little Sr. of LaGrange, and younger sister, Dana Fling Henson of LaGrange. Survivors include two children, Joseph Carlton (Cindy) Little Jr. of Pine Mountain and Danielle Little (Thomas) Stanley of LaGrange; three step children, Karla (Nolan) Childs of Griffin, Michelle Little of Griffin, and Jeffery Gill of Mississippi; two sisters, Ellen Fling (Rob) Danner of Macon, GA and Gayle Fling (Doug) Middlebrooks of Covington, GA; eleven grandchildren, Garner and Alivia Little, Mason Little, Harlie Gill, Savannah and Trinity Wohler, Tyler, Hannah, Amber and Wesley Conklin, one due in January of 2017; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Funeral services will held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 7, 2016 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Reverend Mabry Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery where she will be laid beside her beloved husband. The gathering of family and friends will be on Wednesday from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
