Mrs. Cooper was born January 8, 1934 in Roanoke, AL, daughter of the late J. Dewey Fisher and Eula B. Wilson Fisher. She was employed with J.C. Penney as the manager of the Human Resource Department for many years until retiring. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Robert Cooper.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Grady of Thomasville, GA; and son, Robert Wesley Cooper and his wife, Linda, of LaGrange, GA.
The gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A private burial will be held at a later time.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions be made to March of Dimes or Troup County Humane Society in memory of Mrs. Sarah Nell Cooper.
