Sharon worked as a bank teller, a substitute teacher, and was a controller of her family-owned businesses, Midsouth Mechanical Inc. and Southland Propane, Inc.
Above all, Sharon was the most loving and devoted mother and nana. She absolutely loved her family more than anything in this world. It was always about her children and her “babies” (grandchildren). She was well known for her consistent Sunday dinners, which brought her family together each week to share meals, laughter and love. She enjoyed teaching her grandchildren how to cook. She loved shopping with her babies, gardening, decorating her house, going to the beach and loved karaoke. Sharon was deeply involved in the lives of her grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to attend their events or celebrate their milestones whenever possible.
She was a faithful member of Rosemont Baptist Church, where her strong faith guided her life. She was a woman of prayer who loved the Lord.
