Mr. Carlisle was born February 5, 1955 in Norfolk, VA, son of Elizabeth Shollenbarger and the late Douglas Carlisle. He was employed with the Miami Springs Police Department and retired as Lieutenant after 30 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Cathy Carlisle; son, Nicholas Ellis and his fiance Nicole Little; mother, Elizabeth Shollenbarger; two sisters, Pat Smith and Lisa Ball; five nieces and nephews.
The Gathering of Family and Friends will be Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 2:00pm until 3:00 pm in the Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel and the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00pm.
The family has respectfully requested for donations to be made at West Georgia Hospice in memory of Mr. Carlisle.
