Thomas Calvin Lucas

Mr. Lucas was born March 22, 1947 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Calvin and Eunice Kitts Lucas. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Lucas was a truck driver for 32 years, and was currently employed with Troup County School System as an ASE Certified Mechanic in the Transportation Department.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Lucas; daughters, Rebecca Gates and Melissa (Tim) Johnson; son, Thomas Lucas; grandchildren, Hannah Johnson, Taylor Lucas, Timothy Johnson, Ethan Gates, Jaylah Gates, Christian Lucas, and Owen Hardy; niece, Holly Shay; other relatives and friends.

A Memorial service will be held 6:00 P.M. Friday, December 19, 2014 at Refuge Point Church in West Point, GA with Reverend Mike Hornsby officiating.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Celebrate Recovery at Refuge Point Church, 503 W. 8th Street, West Point, GA 31833.
