Thomas "Tommy" James Roberts

Mr. Roberts was born May 21, 1956 in LaGrange, son of the late Willie James Roberts and Betty Rea Weaver Campbell. He was a devoted employee with Milliken and Company, Live Oak Plant, as a painter and Building Facility Operator and attended Baptist Tabernacle Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Glenn Roberts.

Survivors include 2 daughters and one son-in-law, Jennifer and Kenny Williamson of Montgomery, AL and Abby East and her mother Tammy East both of LaGrange; 3 grandchildren, Hunter Williamson, Kylar Williamson, and Kensley Williamson, all of Montgomery, AL; two sisters, Katherine Rice of LaGrange and Becky Schneider of Hamilton, OH; and 3 brothers, Donald Keith Roberts, Travis Lamar Roberts, and Dana Rex Roberts, all of LaGrange.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, June 10, 2012 at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M.
