Thomas Heulan Spence

Thomas was born December 16, 1972 in Boaz, AL. He had lived in LaGrange, GA most of his life and was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Thomas was employed with St. Francis Hospital and also worked for Care Ambulance in Columbus, GA and the Heard County Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Aileen Spence; children, Alex Fernandez and Isabel Spence; sister, Krystal Pennea; mother, Connie West; father, Thomas C. Spence; niece, Angelique Toland; and nephews, Riley Pennea, Michael Pennea II, and Christian Pennea.

Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, LaGrange, GA with Father Tim Gadziala officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens.

The gathering of family and friends will be at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, LaGrange, GA on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with the Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 P.M.
