Wanda O'Neal

Mrs. Wanda Gay O’Neal, 70, of LaGrange, GA passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at West Georgia Medical Center. Mrs. O’Neal was born January 9, 1951 in LaGrange, GA, daughter of the late William Henry Gay and Mary Eugenia Segrest Gay. She was a member of Baptist Tabernacle and was a hairstylist for 55 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Raymond Myhand and a brother-in-law, Basil Young. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Tommy O’Neal; daughter, Wendy Raper (Shane); grandsons, Slone Raper and Jace Raper; sister, Carolyn Young; nieces, Whitney Lance (Cody), Dana King (Tommy), and Sharon Johnson (Phillip); sisters-in-law, Erlene Pressley and Glennis O’Neal; brother-in-law, Glenn Legg; and several great nieces and great nephews and extended family members. The Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating. Burial will follow in Shadowlawn Cemetery. The gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the church. The family will be at the home of Wendy and Shane Raper.
