Wayne Clark Rogers

Mr. Rogers was born July 17, 1958 in LaGrange, GA. He attended Baptist Tabernacle and was employed with Duracell. Mr. Rogers enjoyed riding four-wheelers, guns, NASCAR, and gardening. He was preceded in death by his father, Looney Alton Rogers and a brother, Jimmy Rogers.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Faye Hester Rogers of LaGrange; mother, Mary Koone Burnett and her husband Gene Burnett of Valley, AL; son, Brian Rogers; three step daughters, Kim Bragg, Kristen Lynd and her husband Daniel Lynd and Kelly Matheny; grandchildren, Cortney, Britney, Alan, Aiden, and Emmett; and Briar Bailey who is like a grandchild; brother, Hollis Rogers and his wife Lil Rogers; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 5:00 P.M. Friday, August 19, 2016 at Baptist Tabernacle Church with Reverend Jimmy McMillian officiating. The gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 4:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Baptist Tabernacle Church.

The family has respectfully requested any contributions to be made to Baptist Tabernacle Church or West Georgia Hospice in memory of Mr. Wayne Clark Rogers.
