Winston Whitlow

Mr. Whitlow was born August 24, 1954 in Opelika, AL to Martha Janett Ledbetter Whitlow and the late Marvin Felton Whitlow, Sr. He was a member of Southcrest Church in LaGrange and was the Owner and Operator of JSP Audio, JobShop Productions, and Whitlow Enterprises Inc. Mr. Whitlow is remembered as a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved to work in the print shop and on the sound jobs, from football games to beauty pageants to rattlesnake rodeos. Winston was an avid Nascar fan and loved to travel. He loved all his family, but his grandchildren were the delights of his life. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Wayne Whitlow.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Whitlow; daughters, Joy Allgood, Lane (Andrew) Escobar, and Taylor Whitlow; grandchildren, Graylon Allgood, Ragan Allgood, Isabella Allgood, Lucy Escobar, Jude Escobar, and Caleb Escobar; mother, Martha Janett Ledbetter Whitlow; brother, Felton Whitlow (Debra Larsen); sister, Phyllis Windsor (Phil Richardson); and host of other relatives and friends.

The Gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday, February 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Special friend, Bert Hunter officiating. A private family committal will follow the service. The family will be at the home of Mr. Winston Whitlow, 113 Clearwater Dr.
