Aaron was a lifelong resident of Cameron and Lake Charles, Louisiana, and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church of Cameron for many years. He was a graduate of South Cameron High School where he played football for the Tarpons; even playing in the LHSAA State Football Championship. Anyone who encountered Aaron would surely say that he was quite the comedian. He made everyone laugh, and never met a stranger. Being the first grandchild, he was the baby of the neighborhood developing a special bond with his aunts, uncle, and mother’s cousins. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. At church, he sang in his grandmother’s choir and played drums. He also loved to cook and was great at it. Aaron loved his family, especially his children. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Aaron is preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Ann LaSalle-Spriggs; grandparents, Phillip Leo LaSalle and Rebecca Jones LaSalle; and uncle, Cedric LaSalle, Sr.
